Statement of Beliefs

 

The following statement of beliefs gives an understanding of the biblical principles

• We believe God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit are one in purpose. 1 John 5:6-8

 

• We believe in the Bible was originally written under the inspiration of God through the Holy Spirit and constitutes the only infallible guide in faith and practice. 2 Timothy 3:15-17

 

• We believe God created Adam and Eve in his own image and through disobedience, Adam and Eve fell from their sinless state through the temptation by Satan. That the state of sin and spiritual death, brought upon the entire race the sentence of eternal death.  Genesis 1:26-28

 

• We believe God blessed Adam and Eve, and said to be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.  Genesis 1:28

 

• We believe in the marriage union of man and women is ordained by God. Genesis 2:18, 21-24

• We believe that man can be saved only by the grace of God, through faith, that our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ was sent by the Father to redeem mankind.  Ephesians 2:4-5

​

• We accept Jesus Christ as Lord of our life and that He suffered in Gethsemane, died for our sins and overcame death through His resurrection. Acts 2:23-24, 36; Acts 4:2

 

• We believe in water baptism in the name of the Father, His son Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and in the gift of the Holy Ghost. Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 2:38

 

• We believe in partaking of the communion to remind us of what was given to us through Jesus Christ when His body was broken and bruised for our iniquities. 1 Corinthinas 11:24-27

 

• We believe in the glorious return of Jesus Christ the Son of God. Matthew 24:30-31

 

• We believe the manifestation that came with the gift of the Holy Spirit was speaking in tongues. 1 Corinthians 14:1-4

 

• We believe God loves us, that He has personal knowledge of us, and that He has a personal plan to see us prosper, no harm to befall us and gives us hope for the future.  Jeremiah 29:11

 

• We believe in the great commission and trust in Jesus Christ and share in His ministry to teach, bless, heal, bind-up the broken hearted and preach release to the captive. Matthew 28:16-20

 

• We believe our struggles is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 6:11-13

• We believe in the five fold ministries of the church of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teacher given to God's people for works of service to build the body of Christ until we all reach unity of faith and in knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Ephesians 4:11-13

 

• We believe in the fruits of the Spirit: love;  joy;  peace; patience; kindness;  goodness;  faithfulness; gentleness; and self-control. Galatians 5:22-26

 

• We believe in the gifts of the Spirit: wisdom; knowledge; faith; healing; miracles; prophecy; discernment; speaking in tongues; and interpretation of tongues.1 Corinthians 12:1-11

 

• We believe in the unity and diversity in the Body of Christ. 1 Corinthians 12:12-14; Ephesians 4:11-13

• As a ministry we believe in serving others faithfully and teaching the word. 1 Peter 4:7-11
